From theatre stages to packed rooms, the best nights happen when the whole crowd gets in on it. George keeps the show moving and makes space for every voice.
The man behind the mic
Meet George.
For George Cox, the best part of hosting is connecting with people. Whether he’s interviewing a celebrity or handing someone the mic for their first karaoke song, he loves the spontaneity—and believes everyone has a story worth hearing.
Before YouTube and TikTok, George hosted an award-winning public access television show that aired in more than 40 cities, including New York City. His experiences include interviewing Britney Spears and Melissa Etheridge, and going backstage at the Boston Music Awards. Today, he brings that same curiosity and energy to every crowd as the King of Karaoke.
A songwriter as well as a host, George has written more than 30 original songs and shares his music as Arthur Redfern. He’s always interested in meeting new talent and exploring creative collaborations.
By day, George works as an HIV case manager at the Merrimack Valley Assistance Program (MVAP), supporting people living with or affected by HIV. The organization also provides education, outreach, and prevention services—community work that matters deeply to him.
Away from work and the stage, George enjoys spending time with his husband and their two cats, Jinx and Milo.
